David Weigel is a real estate agent with ROSSITTO. The Collective, powered by SERHANT. He helps people in the Upstate of South Carolina buy and sell homes with confidence, clarity, and care. Whether working with first-time buyers, families moving up to their dream home, or clients downsizing for the next chapter, David believes every client deserves the same attention to detail and commitment that he gives his own family.
He grew up just up the mountain in Asheville, NC, and first came to the Upstate to attend Furman University. Life and work later took him to North Carolina, Michigan, and Chicago, but David and his wife chose to return here to raise their three kids. That perspective—knowing both what makes this area special and what it means to choose a place to call home—shapes the way he works with his clients.
Before real estate, David was a professional opera singer and music teacher, a career that gave him the opportunity to work with people from all over the world. It taught him to listen closely, communicate clearly, and perform under pressure. It also showed him that creativity and preparation are everything—skills that translate perfectly into real estate. Today, he uses those same strengths to negotiate on behalf of his clients, market their homes in bold, innovative ways, and guide them through one of life’s most important decisions with confidence.
David doesn’t treat real estate like a series of transactions. For him, it’s about people and relationships. He brings the innovative tools and bold marketing of SERHANT., but also the loyalty, care, and attention to detail of someone who sees this work as personal. His goal is to make clients feel supported, informed, and confident every step of the way. Outside of real estate, David is a husband, dad of three, and pet parent to a golden retriever and a very fluffy orange cat. He’s still a musician, enjoys fitness, and is a lifelong fan of sci-fi (yes, both Star Wars and Star Trek!) and fantasy. He’ll argue that Bingo from Bluey might be the best character ever created, and more often than not, he’s sporting fresh nail polish courtesy of his five-year-old daughter. And—though it may be controversial—he does like pineapple on pizza.
At the end of the day, David sees real estate as more than helping people move from one house to another—it’s about listening, connecting, and making the process feel a little less overwhelming and a lot more human.
